Must I have experience in floating platforms?

Naturally, we love when applicants come from the floating platform industry, but if you have relevant experience from a different industry and you feel you have the right stuff, then we want to meet you.

What other documents should I send with my CV?

You can attach your certificates, references, and a cover letter outlining your motivation and professional goals in addition to your resume and/or a link to your business networking profile. However, these are not required! The job adverts specify which documents are needed for certain roles.

If a job is advertised as full-time, can I apply for it part-time?

Of course! Our goal is to match each post with the ideal candidate, and working together we will find a solution.

Should I still apply if I don’t match all the job requirements?

That is a definite yes! To find out how you can make us stronger, we would like to meet with you.

What can I expect from the hiring process?

We keep everything open, honest, and genuine. You can learn about us and our vision, and we can learn about you and how you can help us succeed. We want to know about your goals and preferred employment in order to find a good fit for both of us.

Will my interview be in person?

Although we prefer to do interviews in person, we acknowledge that using Teams or Zoom is more efficient in some situations.

How flexible is the start date?

Even though every job posting specifies a start date, we are quite accommodating and will take your specific preferences into account. In your application, let us know what works the best for you.

How many interviews are in the hiring process?

Because we like to get things done quickly, there are usually only two parts to the interview process: meet HR and meet the team. These can even happen back-to-back, depending on team availability.

What is expected to be successful at FloaTec?

We are looking for collaborative individuals that enjoy questioning the status quo and blending in with tolerant people who enjoy a flat organisational structure. If what you hear sounds good to you, then start the application process.

Who will I meet with?

We will send you the names and business profile links of your potential future colleagues before your interview.

What should I focus on when preparing?

We love when applicants (1) have a thorough understanding of what we are doing, (2) have acquainted themselves with our company culture, and (3) can expand in detail on the unique value they will bring to us.

How long does the hiring process take?

We move fast. From receipt of your application to the point of decision, it normally takes two weeks. We often get it done even faster.

How many days paid holiday will I get per year?

Every employee with a five-day workweek is entitled to thirty days of paid vacation time annually.

To what extent is remote work possible?

While we strongly encourage remote work, many roles inherently need people to work on-site or in the office.

How flexible are working hours at FloaTec?

Working hours are position-dependent, but you can typically set them up anyway you like, in consultation with your team.
